Alex Bruesewitz, the CEO of the consulting firm X Strategies, collapsed while speaking at the New York Young Republicans Club Gala. The 27-year-old strategist was responsible for shaping President-elect Donald Trump's appeal to younger voters during his 2024 campaign. Several videos from the event, shared online, show Bruesewitz struggling during his speech.

At the event, which took place on Sunday and also featured speeches from figures like Steve Bannon and Nigel Farage, Alex Bruesewitz began slurring his words before going silent for several seconds. He then collapsed to his side, causing panic among the audience.

Who is Alex Bruesewitz?

Alex Bruesewitz is a political consultant and strategist who’s become well-known for his strong support of Donald Trump and the America First movement. Growing up in the Midwest, he developed a passion for politics and became deeply involved with the values of today’s Republican Party. The bio on his X account describes him as 'Trump Campaign Advisor.'

He’s been a vocal advocate for putting American interests first, working hard to support Trump’s vision and oppose Republicans who don't align with the MAGA (Make America Great Again) agenda.

In addition to his political work, Bruesewitz travels widely, speaking on behalf of the MAGA movement. He is also the author of Winning the Social Media War: How Conservatives Can Fight Back, Reclaim the Narrative, and Turn the Tides Against the Left.

He is the founder and CEO of X Strategies LLC, a political consulting firm that has backed Trump in his campaigns. On the company's client testimonial page, a statement from Donald Trump reads:

“Alex Bruesewitz is a young star. I don’t know where he’s going, but he’s going places.”
“Alex Bruesewitz is one of my father’s strongest and most loyal supporters.” wrote Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr.

In an interview with The Dartmouth Review, when asked about his views on how to strengthen the American conservative movement, he suggested that the Republican Party needs to remove members who don’t fully support the core values of the party, often referring to these individuals as "RINOs" (Republicans In Name Only). He said:

"Well, I would be getting rid of RINOs. I would say, if you don’t support these values—I don’t care if you’re in a R+1 seat or a D+1 seat—that these are the Republican values. This is what we stand for. And if you don’t stand for each and every one of these values right now, there’s no room for you in our movement."

Alex Bruesewitz also stressed the importance of unity within the party. He believes that fighting against internal divisions is just as important as fighting against Democrats and that the Republican Party needs strong, committed leadership to drive the movement forward.

Updates on Alex Bruesewitz's health after the collapse posted on X

Since his collapse in the NYYRC gala event, Alex Bruesewitz has been trending on X with people praying that he gets well soon. Jack Posobiec, a senior editor at Human Events and a former U.S. Navy intelligence officer, posted updates about Bruesewitz health on his X. Assuring people that Alex will be 'just fine,' Posobiec wrote:

"Just talked to @alexbruesewitz backstage. He is getting checked out by medical after having a brief fainting spell onstage. All levels are normal. Only thing he asked me was, “Did it look cool?”. He’ll be just fine"

President-elect Donald Trump called Dan Scavino who was on the stage after Alex Bruesewitz's collapse. During the call, Trump said:

"I know Alex is going to be fine because he is a tough son of a gun. There's no doubt about that."

According to the NewYorkTimes, the exclusive black-tie gathering was held at Cipriani Wall Street, featuring influential speakers such as Nigel Farage, Dan Scavino, Steve Bannon, and Corey Lewandowski, who is a senior adviser to President-elect Trump.
