Concerned parents of 17-year-old Mylie Sharp are desperate for any information that would lead to her whereabouts. Sharp’s parents took to social media to plead for help in locating their daughter, missing since October 30, 2024.

According to the parents, the Houston teen was last seen Wednesday night in the 6200 block of Kingwood Glen Drive in the NE Houston area. The parents revealed alarms were raised after Mylie Sharp did not arrive home at curfew on Wednesday night. She was also unreachable by phone, which was switched off, compounding their fears for the teen’s safety.

As of October 31, the teen has not been found. The parents added she did not take any of her belongings, including contacts or glasses. Mylie Sharp was last seen wearing a pink/red shirt, blue jean shorts, black Converse shoes and a maroon purse. Police have reportedly been notified about her disappearance. The parents in social media posts, said:

“A police report has been filed, and she could be in the humble or NE Houston area. Please contact us if you have any info and share. Yes, we have her last known contacts. No, we do not know who she got in the car with last. Mylie.. please let us know you are safe."

Community members are rallying around Mylie's concerned family in the wake of her disappearance. The parents' plea for help on social media has been shared by multiple concerned people online, including Harris County constable Mark Herman, who urged anyone with information to contact Harris County dispatch or local law enforcement. Part of the Facebook post read:

“17-year-old Mylie Sharp has been missing since October 30, 2024. She was last seen in the 6200 block of Kingwood Glen Drive.”

Mylie's disappearance has sparked widespread search efforts with several social media users amplifying the message about her disappearance, in hopes it would generate a lead into her whereabouts. A concerned social media user, Ashley Cherry, said:

”Please keep sharing and praying for her safe return!!! This is my niece! We are all very concerned!!”

A community member, Matt Ganshow, added:

“I pray that God protects Mylie Sharp and helps the police and family locate her quickly, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.”

Mylie was described as 5.5 feet tall and weighed around 150 lbs. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts was encouraged to contact her family at 832-474-4437.
