Emmanuel Acho among many celebrities affected by the LA wildfire
Paris Hilton, James Woods, Jamie Lee Curtis, Mandy Moore, and Maria Shriver are among many who have been affected by the LA wildfire. As reported by WDSU news, the Palisades Fire has caused unparalleled destruction in Los Angeles, claiming an estimated 1,000 structures and earning its place as the most devastating blaze in the city’s history.
Billy Crystal and his wife Janice lost their home to the LA wildfire and shared a heartbreaking statement with CNN.
Halle Berry also shared pictures on her X and wrote:
"This is from my hood. Look at the sky. That is smoke, not clouds from a fire that has consumed over 2,900 acres and remains uncontained. It’s left so many homes and buildings without power and killed at least two people, with more left with significant injuries. Please stay safe and informed through NotifyLA!"
Meanwhile, the Eaton Fire in Altadena, north of Pasadena, has scorched over 10,000 acres, potentially becoming the largest wildfire recorded in California during January in over four decades. Evacuation orders have impacted at least 70,000 residents, with numbers continuing to rise as new orders are issued. The fire’s relentless advance has threatened densely populated and affluent areas like Calabasas and Santa Monica.
