A teen mother named Bryanna Richmond from Memphis has been found dead. She was reported to be missing on Wednesday afternoon, December 4, but the following day, her body was discovered on Frayser. She was 19 at the time.
As reported by Fox13 Memphis, Bryanna's cousin said she was last seen exiting her apartment complex, located in East Memphis, shortly after 2.30 pm on Wednesday. She drove a blue Mazda. However, the next morning, police officers received reports of a wounded female on Baxter Avenue in Frayser. Per the outlet, Richmond was found and declared dead on the spot.
Bryanna Richmond's mother begs for help, cousin says she "didn't deserve any of this"
Per missing person flyers circulating on social media, Bryanna Richmond was five feet and 105 lbs. She had brown eyes and black hair, and her cousin, Tina Richmond, took to Facebook to confirm her demise. In a short statement, she noted:
"Lord help us on today. Big cousin will always love you Bre. Keep my family in your prayers definitely extra prayers for my uncle Bryan, Joann & her baby girl this HURT. Fly high cousin Bryanna Richmond."
Tina also spoke to the outlet for the article, which came out on December 6:
"She didn't deserve any of this. Loving, sweet, and all about her baby. Everyone is asking 'Where is Bryanna?' because we know she don't normally do this. Maybe she went to clear her head. She'd be back. In my mind, that's what I'm thinking. I'd never think of the worst."
Officials took hours to comb through Frayser and locate the teen's body. The day she went missing, Bryanna Richmond's mother, JoAnna Latrice, took to Facebook to call for help. Read her plea below:
"Facebook I need you all help….!!! My daughter Bry Bry #BryAnnaRichmond is missing and has been since 2:30 pm yesterday when she left her apartment in East Memphis. She is about 5’0 105 lbs brown eyed black hair. Last seen wearing a gray hoodie with dark bottom pants and pink new balances. She drives a blue 2010 Mazda 6 with license plate number BRT2278. If anyone has seen or heard from her please contact me at 901-608-1989."
Tina Richmond added:
"She been in her car since last night. So she was in the cold all night. I'm more shocked than anything. I'd never thought I'd wake up today with something tragic like this."
She also told the outlet that she hoped to one day see Bryanna running her own salon:
"I wish you can see her work. It was beautiful. She was doing hair, braids, and she kept women feeling beautiful about themselves," she said. They gonna have to come clean for this. This is ridiculous. My cousin didn't deserve this and none of us don't deserve to go through this pain."
