My wonderful mother has gone to be with the Lord. She was found in the white tanks mountain doing what she loved to do seeking the Lord. I am forever grateful for the example she showed me. What do we know about the Amber Barnett Missing case?

According to Newsweek, Amber Barnett, 52 years old, was described as a very religious person who had a special attachment to the park where her body was found. Not just her but her husband, who passed away in January, also had a special attachment to the park. She even held her husband's memorial service at the White Tank's natural center.

According to People, on April 2, 2024, her family reported her missing after she did not return from a hike on the Mesquite Trail. Initially, missing flyers reported that she went missing on April 1, 2024, but later, it was clarified that she was last seen on April 2.

According to multiple reports, citing a post from The Missing in Arizona Facebook group, on April 4, the deputies found Amber's car at the White Tank's Mountain Recreation Center. The vehicle was unlocked with important items like her keys, debit card, and cellphone.

During the search for Amber, Fox 10 reported that her family revealed she had a medical condition and was also "almost non-verbal." It was also reported that her family thinks Amber stopped taking her medication and believed her life was in danger. Amber used to work as the White Tank Park's host and still did volunteer service, reported Fox 10 News, and is reportedly familiar with the park and its path.

After months of searching, Amber's body was found in the White Tank Park by deputies responding to a hiker's report of "possible human remains" near a trail on November 24. Her cause of death is not available, and according to reports citing authorities of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, detectives from the homicide unit are investigating the case.
