Mychel Stowers from St. Paul has been charged with a warrant after he allegedly killed his pregnant wife. Stowers also reportedly stole a car after shooting at its owner. Police are currently looking for Stowers who was on parole from prison in relation to a murder case in 2008.

The criminal complaint revealed that the police were responding to a call at 100 block Sycamore Street East, St. Paul, Minnesota, at around 9:08 p.m. on October 19. The officers were reported of a shooting in an apartment. When they arrived they found gun residues in the apartment and a woman, who was later identified as 35-year-old Damara Alexis Kirkland.

Damara was lying on the bedroom floor and was pronounced dead by the paramedics. Prosecutors have confirmed that the victim was Mychel Stowers' wife. While they had filed for divorce, it had not been finalized.

Damara was about two months pregnant and a few ultrasound photos were also found in the apartment.

Stowers was not at the apartment. The complaint revealed that the officers also responded to another call, six minutes after the call that reported the apartment shooting.

The second call was regarding a nearby carjacking on the 90 block of Acker Street. About 0.1 miles away from the apartment, the officers found a man with a gunshot wound on his leg. The man was given immediate medical assistance.

Another person with the owner of the car revealed that the suspect also tried to shoot him but missed it. The person ran home but the suspect stole the car. The second victim who suffered a gunshot wound on his leg revealed that the suspect left the scene but returned to steal the car.

According to the description of the suspect that the victim gave, police identified him as Mychel Stowers. Later, the surveillance footage from a church also confirmed that it was Stowers who stole the man's Audi.

What are the charges that Mychel Stowers is facing?

Mychel Stowers has been reportedly charged with second-degree murder, second-degree murder of an unborn child, two counts of second-degree assault with a weapon, and two counts of first-degree carjacking. A warrant for his arrest has also been issued.

The complaint also revealed that Mychel himself called the Sheriff's office and wanted to turn himself in for shooting a man on Acker Street. However, he has not done so yet. The police have confirmed that an investigation is underway and they will update everyone via social media.
