According to reports, the neighbor allegedly saw the couple arguing and getting into a physical altercation.

According to the neighbor, Brad was allegedly preventing Suzanne from leaving the house, and when he later went to check on the couple, he heard a scream from the woods nearby, prompting him to go back inside. Later, the neighbor reports seeing Brad Simpson leave the house with his pickup truck and return a few hours later.

After the arrest of Cotter, Brad is also facing a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm. With the newly added charges, his total bond is now $3 million.
