What happened to Steven Dreuitt? Philadelphia man killed on  ground after medical jet plane crash

Steven Dreuitt, 37, has been identified as the man who was killed on the ground by the deadly medical jet crash in Philadelphia. The crash happened on January 31, and nobody survived in the jet. Moreover, the crash also left many people injured on the ground.

According to CBS, Dreuitt was heading to Roosevelt Mall's Macy's with his fiancee and son when the incident happened after 6 pm. Police officials said that many cars were driving in Cottman Avenue near the mall at the time of the crash. Dreuitt was found inside his car. While the car was damaged heavily, Dreuitt had faced many injuries that took his life.

On February 5, he was identified as a resident of Philadelphia. According to NBC10, his family confirmed that his son has also been hospitalized. Moreover, his fiancee, Dominique Goods, also suffered 70% burns and was critically injured. Her cousin Shantelle Fletcher also confirmed that she is in a "medically induced coma" and is responding to her treatment.

Fletcher further told the news outlet:

"They never made it to Macy’s."

"On their way there, that’s when the plane had crashed and their vehicle was near the blast area."

Steven Dreuitt's GoFundMe raises over $3,300

Steven Dreuitt's god-sister Shakirah Hill has set up a fundraiser to raise funds for his service. Hill mentioned in a note that Dreuitt was a "lifetime resident of Philadelphia." She added that the funds would help his family with the financial burden that they were facing.

"Steven was a beloved father, son, uncle, and brother who will be missed tremendously. This GoFundMe is being set up to ease the financial burdens now placed on his mother and sister due to a horrible and untimely death."

Hill added that Steven Dreuitt was a father of two young sons. While one of them is facing serious injuries, the other, a teenager, is dealing with a the loss.

"Steven was a father to two young sons, one who was also severely burned at the time and is currently fighting for his life. He has a teenage son who is struggling to cope with the loss of his father, and his mother, Dominique Goods, who was also burned over a great portion of her body, is dealing with injuries his little brother suffered."

At the time of writing, $3,364 has been raised from 77 donations. Their target is $20,000.
