Helen Ward, a 36-year-old woman from Mobile, went missing in April 2021. Her family had filed a missing complaint about four years ago and reportedly her body was recently found in a creek in Alabama. What was shocking was that Ward was found in a car in the water stream.
In 2021, Ward went missing and her sister shared the same in a Facebook post. She shared a picture of Ward and urged people to call her if they have any information.

How was Helen Ward found?
Helen Ward's missing investigation recently came to a conclusion, but it was not the outcome her family was hoping for. According to News 5 WKRG, a fisherman named Wes Clements went fishing on Wednesday morning. However, little did he know that he would find something unusual.
For a better fishing experience, Clements recently got a Garmin live scope sonar device and was using it while fishing in Chickasaw Creek, Alabama. While exploring the creek, he spotted a car which unfolded the mystery about Ward. The fisherman said,
"Me and my dog were just fishing around and happened to pan over on the pylons and seeing something like a car."
"So, my natural instincts, like, ooh structure. So, I started fishing it, and I was like, ‘Maybe I should report this.'"
Clements revealed that he has seen "a lot of crazy stuff, but this—this tops it." He alerted the authorities and as they pulled out the car, it came out to be a Chevy Trailblazer. Moreover, there was also a body inside the car.
Blake Brown, Mobile Police Department Public Information Officer, further confirmed that there was already a missing persons case to which the vehicle matches.
"It was determined that that vehicle belongs to a missing persons case out of Mobile County, out of Mobile police’s jurisdiction, back from 2021."
Brown further confirmed that a preliminary investigation had revealed that the person in the car was Helen Ward. She was last seen in a Trailblazer before going missing about four years ago.
No foul play was allegedly involved in the case. Brown said,
"It is believed that the driver did drive into the water. Whatever led her to do that is unclear at this point."
More information about the case is awaited. However, authorities and the fisherman revealed that the car was in good shape despite being allegedly submerged in the water for a long time.
