Bikini Beans Coffee has broken its silence in the wake of one of its employees filming Nautica Malone, a Tempe man, pulling up to the drive-thru with no pants on. Malone later took his own life on Saturday, January 11, with a gunshot wound to his head.
Bikini Beans Coffee took to X on Tuesday, January 14, to issue a statement in response to Malone's passing, noting that they are sympathetic to his passing. It further reads that they remain committed to their employees' safety:
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the individual involved during this difficult time. This was an unfortunate and tragic situation. As a company, the safety of our employees is always our top priority. In this case, an individual chose to commit a crime at one of our locations. We take incidents like this very seriously and remain committed to protecting our team and maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Thank you for your continued support.”

A video of the incident has since gone viral in the wake of Nautica Malone's death. In it, he can be seen pulling up to the drive-thru window as he greets the barista with a smile. The woman then asks him if he's been here before, and when she comes closer to the car, she sees that he has no pants on.
She immediately asked him to leave, noting that his behavior was "unacceptable," and within seconds, Malone could be seen driving away upon seeing that he was being filmed. He was allegedly engaging in a s*xual act at the time. She can also be heard asking one of her colleagues to call 911.
The video has since gained hundreds of views and comments online, with many users accusing Malone of indecent exposure and inappropriate behavior. Per the Shade Room, however, given the mounting backlash, Malone headed over to Goodyear, Arizona, where he shot himself, the Maricopa County Medical Examiner has revealed.
TMZ has also reported that on the night he died, Malone's "aggressive" family showed up at Bikini Beans Coffee to confront the manager and staff. They reportedly blamed them for Malone's suicide.
Nonetheless, tributes from his family and friends have been pouring in on social media, which reveal that Malone was a graduate of Central High School. he reportedly swam for the varsity team, and was married to Tori Malone. The two reportedly welcomed a baby about a year ago.
