A car influencer Andre Beadle, who goes by the name 1Stockf30 online, was tragically killed after his 2024 BMW X5 collided with a light post. The tragic incident happened while speeding on the Nassau Expressway near JFK Airport just after 1 am on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
The New York-based 25-year-old influencer was reportedly in a street race, speeding on the left lane before he careened down and swerved across the road, striking the metal pole. According to the New York Post, Beadle was ejected from his car in front of stunned witnesses. He was subsequently rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Video captured by a witness and posted on X, showed Beadle’s car racing through the highway before striking the pole as horrified people rushed toward the crash site. According to the New York police department, Andre Beadle was racing alongside a passenger in his car at the time of the crash.
The front-seat passenger, identified as a 21-year-old male, was reportedly transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition. They added:
"EMS responded and transported the 25-year-old male to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.”
Authorities said the incident was under investigation by the NYPD Highway District Collision Investigation Squad.
Community mourns passing of YouTuber Andre Beadle
Andre Beadle was a popular influencer and YouTuber, who boasted over two hundred thousand followers on Instagram and fifty thousand followers on YouTube. Shortly before the incident, Beadle uploaded a video on his YouTube channel prepping his car for a race. The video was flooded with over a thousand comments mourning the death of the car influencer. A fan wrote:
“Just saw the accident happen live.. I'm so sorry. The car scene lost a young King. You put NYC back on the map in a positive perspective. You gave our scene the respect we needed.”
Another fan added:
“Rip @1stock b58 king aka beetles, only real day ones know you as beetles. You definitely made legendary statements in the car community and you'll be truly missed.”
Following his death, a post was shared on his Instagram detailing a balloon release memorial in Haffen Park in the Bronx. The event was scheduled for Friday, November 8 at 4.30 pm EST.
Hundreds of thousands of people flooded the post with comments expressing their deep grief and sorrow over the untimely passing of Andre Beadle. Several posts also offered support to the devastated family of the victim. A social media user wrote:
“Rip brother. Praying for your family and loved ones.”
Another user remarked on the remarkability of the community supporting each other with their collective grief over the passing of a “true legend”. They said:
