Fort Cavazos army sergeant Greville Clarke, 31, has been charged with 27 counts and was recently arraigned in Texas. These charges have been applied after a long string of violent attacks on other soldiers in their barracks in 2022. The charges include attempted murder and r*pe. The court documents claim that Clarke assaulted five women that year.
The court documents, per Military.com, claim that Greville Clarke broke into the barracks rooms of two women in March 2022. He allegedly r*ped one of them at knifepoint and assaulted the other. He reportedly did the same to another woman in July 2022.
Allegedly, Greville Clarke photographed the woman, stole her military ID and Apple Watch, and r*ped her at gunpoint. This incident also involved him allegedly tying the woman up and blindfolding her. Moreover, the documents mentioned that he pressed his foot on her neck and attempted to strangle her with the cord of a lamp. He stopped only when he believed the woman had died.
Prosecutors have claimed that Clarke tried to cover his tracks by disposing of the bedding after watching it. Two additional break-ins were mentioned in the records from July 2022. However, he is not facing any charges from the incident as it is unclear whether the women were in the barracks.
The Fort Cavazos sergeant was allegedly taken into custody after an October 2, 2022 incident. According to the records, Clarke reportedly broke into a barracks room that belonged to a woman. He then tied her hands and blindfolded her before assaulting her at gunpoint. He allegedly then stole $14,000 from her bank before striking her with his gun and taking her photographs.
While Clarke was attempting to force the woman into a footlocker, she broke free, and he fired a shot at her.
