Here’s how some users reacted positively to the Bourbon Street snowball fight:

“This is some wholesome sh*t. This looks like a scene out of a movie. I love when strangers get together and just have fun for a moment. ❤️,” a user wrote.

A section of netizens shared its views on the doubtful sanitation of the New Orleans streets.

A user wrote,

“Imagine never seeing snow and then getting hit in the face with a p*** soaked snowball.”

For those unaware, snowfall in New Orleans is a pretty rare phenomenon. The Weather Channel called it a “once-in-a-lifetime snowfall,” and reported Winter Storm Enzo has already resulted in more than eight inches of snow that fell in the city. The historic snowfall has also been the biggest in more than 100 years.

On Tuesday, January 21, New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell issued a public warning for everyone in the city to stay off the roads and remain inside. She reiterated the same in another video on January 22, asking the citizens to avoid using the snow-clad roads.
