"This is sickening!" - Netizens fume over viral video of Baltimore Ravens fan assaulting Commanders fan on the street

A viral video of a Ravens fan beating up a Commanders fan after the game on Baltimore street has sparked outrage online. The alleged unprovoked attack by a man wearing a Lamar Jackson jersey began making rounds on multiple social media platforms, including X. The incident occurred after the Ravens-Commanders game on Sunday, October 12, 2024.

After the Baltimore Ravens defeated Washington Commanders on Sunday, an overenthused Ravens fan wearing a Lamar Jackson jersey approached two fans in Commanders jerseys before beating both of them up.

The video was seemingly captured by a man accompanying the Ravens fan. Throughout the incident the man behind the camera was heard yelling, “We’ve got a straggler!” After the attack, the Ravens fan was heard saying, "I don't lose."

The video uploaded on Haters Report went viral online, prompting appalled social media users to demand the individual's arrest. The video has been viewed over 33 million times. A social media user said:

“This is sickening! Sports isn’t that serious. Hope they find him!”

Another user noted the individual should be behind bars.

“Alright this dude belongs in prison but that right hook was absolutely bananas.”

Several others shared similar reactions.


Social media identifies Ravens fan seen assaulting Baltimore fan after Sunday's Game

New York Post, citing Baltimore police, reported that law enforcement was aware of the video circulating on social media. According to Baltimore police, the incident occurred near Cross Street in our Southern District.

The police urged individuals with any information pertaining to the incident to contact the Southern District at 410-396-2499 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7-Lockup.

The police added they are actively investigating the incident. They said:

“Currently, there have been no reports or calls made to police concerning this incident. Detectives are actively investigating the video."

While the police have yet to name the individual who was seen attacking fans, social media users identified him as Jack Callis, an employee at an insurance firm, Maury Donnely and Parr.

Shortly after the incident went viral online, the insurance firm took to X and announced Callis was fired from his job. In a post dated October 15, 2024, the comapny said:

"MDP has a zero-tolerance policy for violence and aggressive behavior. This individual is no longer employed with our firm."

According to a Facebook page unearthed by a social media user, Callis was a production and sales executive at the firm.

Per the Roanoke Maroons website, Callis, a graduate of Hereford High School, went to Roanoke College, where he played Men’s Lacrosse in 2020.
