Dana White, the CEO and president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was seen thanking Joe Rogan for his Trump endorsement at the campaign headquarters for Trump supporters.
In his speech, White expressed that Donald Trump deserved the presidential win by saying:
"This is karma ladies and gentlemen. Nobody deserves this more than his family does. This is what happens when the machine comes after you. Couldn‘t stop him. He keeps going forward. He‘s the most resilient man I‘ve ever met in my life. This is karma, ladies and gentlemen. He deserves this."
He then went on to thank a list of people who he thought were instrumental in Donald Trump's win in key states. This is where he thanked Joe Rogan for his endorsement by adding:
"Last but not least, the mighty and powerful Joe Rogan. And thank you, America. Thank you."
Joe Rogan endorsed Donald Trump just days before election day. He made the announcement as he posted the latest podcast with Elon Musk on his X account and captioned it:
"The great and powerful@elonmusk. If it wasn't for him we'd be fucked. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you'll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way."
"For the record, yes, that's an endorsement of Trump."
Joe Rogan, who helms the podcast The Joe Rogan Experience has over 14.5 million followers on Spotify, 19 million followers on Instagram and 17 million followers on YouTube.
Although in 2020, Joe Rogan was against having Trump on his podcast claiming he did not want to 'help' Trump calling him an 'existential threat to democracy', Trump did appear on the podcast this October where he made some claims about losing the last election.
Rogan’s listeners tend to skew younger, including many in their 20s and 30s, who may be less politically engaged or disillusioned with traditional politics. Gaining traction with this demographic could have been valuable for Trump, particularly in a race where mobilizing younger voters could make a significant difference.
