Two Rivers Police, in their latest Facebook update, informed the community that they have found items that they believe belong to Jacob, a seven-year-old who went missing near Veteran's Park in Two Rivers. According to the update, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources also found an area of interest near the waters where the items were located.
Jacob Baer is described as a 3-ft 5-inch tall white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. According to reports, he was last seen wearing a black and gray sweatshirt, a black jacket with a green hood, black pants, and camouflage boots.

Details on the Two Rivers Missing Case
According to a Post Crescent report, Wisconsin Clearinghouse for Missing Persons issued a missing alert for seven-year-old Jacob Baer, who went missing Saturday, around 4.30 pm near Veteran's Park in Two Rivers.
The police, while acknowledging the community's concern, cautioned them against going to areas of the West Twin River, the City Marina, and Veterans Park because of the ongoing investigation and the presence of thin ice. The police continued their search for the boy in said areas with the help of drones and K9.
According to the Two Rivers Police Department's Facebook update on Saturday, in their search for Jacob, the Coast Guard Ice Search and Rescue Team is helping them search the West Twin River, while the Wisconsin National Guard helped them with aerial support.
According to the update,
We currently have assistance from the Coast Guard Ice Search and Rescue Team on the West Twin River and the WI National Guard providing aerial searching with a helicopter. In addition, we have the assistance of numerous volunteer and local fire departments and local law enforcement. We will give you further updates as they become available. Thank you.
On Sunday, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources also joined them in the search for the missing boy.
Based on the latest updates by the police, items that may belong to Jacob Baer were found by the police in the water of the West Twin River, and the Wisconsin DNR identified an area of interest based on the locations of the items. The update reads as follows,
Law enforcement located several items believed to belong to Jacob in the water of the West Twin River last night. Early this morning the DNR identified an area of interest in the water near these items during their search. A search of this area of interest and additional resources are being coordinated for operations later this morning. We will update you with further information as it becomes available.
