Suzanne Simpson, a well-known realtor in Texas, had been missing since October 6, 2024. Recently, a 15-page unsealed affidavit reveals new details about the disappearance of Texas mother of four. Suzanne Simpson's body has still not been found.

According to the affidavit, in the weeks leading up to her disappearance, Suzanne reportedly told her personal banker to "look for her in a lake" if she ever went missing.

The affidavit also reveals that the day after Suzanne Simpson went missing, her husband Brad was caught on security camera driving to a dump with trash bags and "a bulky item" under a tarp, among other supplies. 53-year-old Brad was charged last week in Bexar County with the alleged murder of his wife.

Affidavit reveals new details regarding the disappearance of Suzanne Simpson

Suzanne was last seen outside her home in Olmos Park, Texas, where a neighbor reportedly witnessed a "physical altercation" between them and heard screams before Brad drove off in his pickup truck.

The affidavit further stated that the morning after the alleged altercation, Brad was seen dropping off one of their four children at school and then arriving at a Whataburger in nearby Boerne around 10 a.m. Brad was seen driving with three white trash bags, a large heavy-duty trash can, an ice chest, and a large, bulky item secured in a blue tarp.

An hour later, Brad was observed at a “Home Depot purchasing two bags of cement, a construction bucket with a lid, a box of 32-ounce heavy-duty trash bags, a bottle of Clorox disinfectant spray, and insect repellent," according to the affidavit. In the parking lot, he allegedly asked a stranger for directions to the nearest dump—and then "intentionally shut off his cellular device."

His truck was seen leaving the dump about an hour later, and he drove to a gas station to fill up gas. Later, he picked up his daughter from elementary school and went to the car wash at 4:00 pm.

"Dried cement splashes could be seen inside the truck bed, and blood stains were seen by Texas Rangers in the truck bed in an October 10 search that ultimately belonged to Brad Simpson," reported by Fox News, per the document.

A friend of Suzanne’s called Brad that night to ask for her and later called police to file a missing persons report. Moments later, Brad left a message with the police, alleging he hadn’t seen his wife all day. Brad told the police that his wife lost her cell phone while at a party at the Argyle.

According to Suzanne's mother, while driving home from the party, Suzanne had called her and said she was physically assaulted by Brad. Authorities later found out Suzanne’s cell phone to be suspended "at the request of the subscriber" around 9:16 p.m. on October 6, contradicting Brad’s initial statements to the police.

Brad Simpson was arrested and charged with allegedly murdering his wife

According to the authorities, "Brad was arrested on October 8 and initially charged with family violence and unlawful restraint."

Last week he was charged in Bexar County with the alleged murder of his wife, Suzanne Simpson.

"The timeline that they have built is what’s important here," retired homicide detective Fil Waters said to Banfield. "I read the affidavit; it’s an amazing treasure trove of evidence, and it all points to him (Brad Simpson) and nobody else."
"He did not appear surprised at the time of his arrest," the affidavit stated. He was found "unconcerned" and "showed little emotion" about her disappearance.

On October 9, police executed a search warrant at the couple’s home and found cell phones and a laptop in a burn pit. According to the affidavit, all of these belonged to Brad. Police also interviewed Suzanne’s personal banker, who reported that Suzanne had confided about her husband’s physical abuse and told the banker,

"That if she went missing, look for her in a lake."

The affidavit further revealed details about conversations between Brad and his former business partner, James Cotter, who was arrested on October 22 and charged with tampering with evidence.

Despite a rigorous search at the landfill, Suzanne’s body has not been found. Meanwhile, Brad's bond hearing scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed to December 19, 2024. He is currently being held on a $5 million bond in Bexar County Jail.

"We hope that (charges) will allow (Simpson’s family) to enter the next phase of the grieving process,” Olmos Park Police Chief Fidel Villegas said during a news conference. “We want them to know that the search for Suzanne is still ongoing.”
