On January 19, 2025, Donald Trump, Melania Trump, and Barron Trump boarded their plane from West Palm Beach in Florida to DC for the President-elect’s inauguration. Videos of the three boarding the aircraft went viral on social media platforms.

However, what did not go unnoticed was when Barron walked up the aircraft’s stairs. As he reached the threshold, he lowered his head to enter the plane. An X account “@1Nicdar” posted the video with the caption:

“Heading to Washington. Looks like they’re gonna need a taller entry door for Barron.”

As per reports, Barron Trump is six feet and nine inches tall, which means he is as tall as basketball player LeBron James. He is even the tallest one among his siblings.

He was influential during Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign as he helped his father connect with the people of his generation. During an interview with Valuetainment in 2024, the President-elect opened up about Barron Trump saying:

“He is very smart. He is a good student and all that, goes to a great school and does really well and he is a very nice guy, you say that. He is a very…he doesn’t mind being alone but he is somebody that gets along with people.”

Born on March 20, 2006, in New York City, Barron is Melania Trump’s only child and Donald Trump's fifth. As of September 2024, he started his first year at New York University's Stern School of Business. As per reports, he lives at Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.

Melania Trump said she was proud of what Barron Trump grew up to

During an interview with Fox News in 2024, Melania revealed that she respected Barron Trump’s decision to stay in New York to study. She did not feel herself to be an empty nester after he left for college as she brought up her son to be independent. Melania said:

“He is incredible young man. I am very proud of what he grow up to, his strength, his intelligence, his knowledge, his kindness, it’s admirable. He is enjoying his college days. I hope he will have a great experience because his life is very different than any other 18–19-year-old child.”

In a recent interview with the same media outlet, Melania mentioned he would not be a permanent resident at the White House but would visit his parents occasionally. She suggested she was also open to Barron Trump having his friends over at the White House. Melania also said:

“I feel uh that as a children, we have them till they are like 18-19-years-old, we teach them, we guide them and then we give them the wings to fly and I always respect Barron’s yes and no and what he likes to do, where he would like to be.”

According to a People Magazine report, Barron Trump is fluent in English and Slovenian, his mother's native language. As a child, he would often speak exclusively in Slovenian when talking to his grandmother. While Melania encouraged him to learn multiple languages, she and Donald Trump agreed on the importance of using English in public.
