US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is among the busiest federal agencies right now with the Trump administration's new policies. For the past few days, ICE has continuously provided updates on crackdowns and arrests, but one of its posts garnered much online attention.

Recently, a user (@HookEm232) replied to a post uploaded by ICE while sharing some details about their students. The account invited the agency to their Fort Worth (Texas) high school. The user also urged the United States Department of Education to “overhaul” the state’s school system in the reply.

Shortly after their reply and other posts went viral, @HookEm232 went private, while their reply to ICE went viral. Here’s what the user wrote under ICE’s post before locking their account,

“Yall should come to Fort Worth, TX to Northside High School. I have many students who don’t even speak English and they are in 10th-11th grade. They have to communicate through their iPhone translator with me. The @usedgov should totally overhaul our school system in Texas too.”

For the unversed, the Trump government has revoked one of the Biden administration’s guidelines that prohibited ICE and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to act in or near sensitive areas. After the order from the Trump administration, the agencies can raid to carry out enforcement actions at or near sensitive locations such as schools, churches, and more.

Thus, @HookEm232’s reply to Immigration and Customs Enforcement got the curiosity of many social media users while also alerting the Fort Worth Independent School District. The school district has announced the launch of an investigation.

Fort Worth Independent School District launches investigation after an alleged substitute teacher invited ICE for a raid

As mentioned, the alleged account of a substitute teacher went private after replying to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. At the same time, the school district in Fort Worth has taken note of the social media post. The authority said in an update that the post has sparked concerns within the “Fort Worth ISD Community.” Here’s the complete statement from Fort Worth Independent School District,

“We are aware of a recent social media post referencing North Side High School which was allegedly made by a substitute teacher and has caused concern among our Fort Worth ISD community.”

It continues,

“We take this matter very seriously and are conducting a thorough investigation to understand the circumstances and ensure appropriate actions are taken. As per district protocol, the employee will not be on campus during the investigation.”

Fort Worth ISD concluded,

“We are committed to maintaining a positive and supportive environment for all students. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we address this matter.”

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has not commented on the matter yet. The agency released a separate statement regarding its operations in Chicago. The agency announced that it has collaborated with the FBI, ATF, DEA, CBP, and the US Marshals Service to carry out their enhanced targeted operations on Sunday in Chicago.

On the other hand, the alleged substitute teacher’s account has remained locked amidst the investigation. Besides @HookEm232’s invite to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, their other reply to Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) went viral recently. The original post from January 24, 2025, talked about a North Carolina teacher vowing to promote acronyms like DEI, CRT, and more.

Replying to Libs of TikTok, @HookEm232 voiced their opposition to DEI as they wrote,

“I teach with these f***ing Libtards every day and that's what I talk to no one at work except the kids.”

As of this writing, a section of X users is supporting the alleged teacher, while the other half is busy criticizing or doxxing them on the platform.
