The student, who has since been identified as Aidan Stiegelmann, was charged on Saturday alongside two other men after the three presented themselves as agents of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at an Insomnia Cookies outlet, USA Today has reported. Temple University suspends suspect, says he will be "subject to disciplinary action... including expulsion."

CBS News has reported that as of Monday, it was discovered that two of the suspects involved in the debacle portrayed themselves as officials from ICE as they tried to make their way into Johnson and Hardwick Residence Halls at around 9:30 p.m.

Shortly before the three made a break for it in a Jaguar SUV, Steigelmann spoke to the other two, though the topic of conversation remains unclear. By the time the cops arrived, all three of the suspects had disappeared.

Ten minutes later, reports began coming in from the Insomnia Cookies outlet located on the 1300 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue. It was there that the three men began wreaking havoc and recording themselves. CBS News has reported that the two men were wearing shirts with the words "Police" and "ICE" in white.

With the help of surveillance footage, officials were able to locate the vehicle the men escaped in, and by 10 p.m. that night, cops cuffed Steigelmann. He was at the 1700 block of North 12th Street at the time. Temple University has since issued a statement, noting that he has been suspended:

"Any student found responsible for this conduct will be subject to disciplinary action under the Student Conduct Code, up to and including expulsion," the university penned. "Impersonating law enforcement officers is a crime. This behavior and harassment of Temple community members will not be tolerated."

CBS News has reported that the Philadelphia Police Department is now on the lookout for the two other suspects.
