Tyler K. Persun, a 28-year-old husband and father, passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2025, at home after a brief illness. His sudden death has taken him away from his loving wife, Brielle, and his four-month-old son, Colby.

Among those grieving is the country singer Ashley McBryde, who posted the heartbreaking news of Tyler’s death to her social media. McBryde, who was a close friend of Tyler's, had attended his wedding party which she shared on her Instagram expressing grief. She shared a photo from the Persuns’ wedding, writing about the close connection she had with the family. She wrote:
"We put our arms around each other during this time of unthinkable tragedy, I'd say more but I just don't have the words."
