Did TikToker Tarot Noir predict American Airlines DC plane crash? Viral posts explored

The January 29 American Airlines plane crash that happened near Washington, DC, shocked many across the globe. A particular TikTok content creator, Tarot Noir (@thehawkerseye), has received much attention for her recent viral clip on the platform.

The creator uploaded a clip around her 2025 predictions shortly before the American Airlines plane crash, according to the comments on the post, 12 to 13 hours before the crash. She coincidently predicted two “aviation” related events in her video, which might shock everyone. However, she did not predict the Washington DC disaster that saw a Black Hawk helicopter colliding with an American Airlines plane on January 29, 2025.

Although the TikToker did reference that the supposed mishaps would involve a commercial airline plane and a small plane, a military aircraft, she predicted the crash would happen in February. Furthermore, Tarot Noir described both incidents as separate events, initially claiming that one will be an “inside job,” while the other will have a popular couple as its victims.

TikToker Tarot Noir made two aviation-related predictions before the American Airlines plane crash

As mentioned, Tarot Noir gave her predictions for 2025, including food shortages, advancements in the healthcare industry, political developments, and more. She started with her two predictions around the “aviation” events and said,

“I have two predictions regarding planes. The first one I get is a commercial plane. There’s a lot of people onboard and there’s a lot of people affected by it. It’s basically some sort of surprise attack on a commercial airplane. It’s like… I keep getting the feeling that it's an inside job, as in that someone who is onboard and inside the plane or someone who works for the airline, is somehow involved in this… Or possibly an airport worker.”

While the American Airlines crash did have many casualties, there is no evidence of its being an inside job and investigations are still underway as of this article's publishing. Besides, the TikToker stuck with vague details in her prediction.

She also added,

“The second thing I keep getting from it is [that] it’s a man-made disaster. It’s done intentionally. The plane’s actually targeted,It’s not some sort of malfunction that happens.”

Tarot Noir didn’t mention military aircraft in her first prediction but made a separate guess. As she continued,

“The second one is… I keep seeing some sort of small plane, like military or private jet. And it’s got a very important couple onboard. It’s, I feel like, one of them is connected somehow to technology, like there is some sort of business tycoon if you like… And they’re like… Champagne lifestyle… They like finer things in life. They actually like to go out and party. I also get this couple have a celebrity-like following. You know, like a big following on social media. Quite successful on there. So, it would be household names, people would know who they are as soon as they read the headline.”

The self-proclaimed psychic maintained her obscure tone in her second prediction as well. She concluded her planes-related predictions by saying,

“I am not sure which one comes first. I keep feeling that it’s gonna be the commercial airline. The passenger plane, that’s first, but it could flip. I just see the two of them. So, it might be it. I don’t know which one’s first, but I do feel like, you know, possibly the month of February will be one of them, at least.”

The mention of a passenger plane and a military aircraft led many to talk about the American Airlines jet colliding with the Black Hawk helicopter. However, as per Tarot Noir’s claims, the plane mishaps were supposed to happen "possibly in the month of February," although the American Airlines crash occurred in January.

Nonetheless, Tarot Noir's video on her 2025 predictions attracted the attention of many users, who tried to make sense of its contents. Many focused on her predictions on aviation. After the American Airlines plane crash, her video got more attention and more than 6.5 million views, which was significantly higher than her previous content.

Besides the plane crashes, Tarot Noir predicted an impending food shortage in early 2025. She further guessed that the healthcare industry might see some success, probably with the help of AI. However, her more sensational claim was about a political scandal involving an older male in a “position of power.” In another viral video with over 1.3 million views, she clarified that the prediction was related to the UK and not the US.

Interestingly, it is not the first time the viral self-declared tarot reader and psychic made a political prediction. In one of her past videos around the end-year predictions of 2024, Tarot Noir predicted that Biden might step down as president for Kamala Harris. It didn’t come true, as Biden completed his term in January 2025 before Donald Trump took over.

In the same clip, she also mentioned the possibility of “an attack” on the UK's soil in 2024, which might create “chaos.” Fortunately for the UK residents, it didn’t happen either.

The American Airlines plane collided with a Black Hawk helicopter over the Potomac River on January 29

An American Airlines jet, operated by PSA, with 60 passengers onboard and four crew members, flying from Wichita, Kansas, to DC’s Reagan Washington Airport. The Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet was approaching Runway 33 of the airport when it collided with a Sikorsky H-60 Black Hawk helicopter.

Both aircraft, with 67 onboard them, crashed into the Potomac River around 9:00 pm local time. The rescue operations commenced shortly, with 300 first responders reaching the crash site. According to NBC News, as many as 42 bodies had been recovered as of February 1, 2025.
