Ahead of the 2024 United States elections, journalist Bob Woodward is set to release his book, War. While the book is due for release next week, several details about the alleged incidents mentioned are making rounds on the internet. Among the many bombshell claims, Woodward's assertion that Donald Trump sent COVID-19 tests to Vladimir Putin has left many in shock.

According to the AP, Bob Woodward has written about a bond between former US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Since his White House term ended, Trump has allegedly stayed in touch with Putin. The book alleges that he has had about seven calls with Putin. However, more details about them have not been discussed in the book.

However, the most talked-about report from Bob Woodward's book is that Trump allegedly sent COVID-19 test machines to Putin for his personal use. The book did not reveal when it happened, but it claimed that the tests were sent when the virus was rapidly spreading in Russia.

Moreover, per Woodward, it was Putin who asked Trump not to tell anyone about it. Donald Trump has denied all claims by Woodward in an interview with ABC News and called him a bad "storyteller."

Claims in Bob Woodward's new book, War

Bob Woodward's upcoming book contains much more about Russia and Putin. Here are some of the noteworthy claims in the book:

Biden's alleged criticism of Barack Obama per Bob Woodward

Bob Woodward has penned details about Joe Biden's criticism of former US President Barack Obama and his handling of Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2014.

Per Woodward's book, Biden shared his opinion about Russia seizing Crimea and a section of the Donbas. He allegedly said, "Barack never took Putin seriously." Moreover, the current US President was also angry, saying they "never should have let Putin just walk in there."

Is Joe Biden fed up with Benjamin Netanyahu?

Besides Biden's alleged criticism of Obama, the book also claims a complicated relationship between the US President and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Woodward alleges that Biden was fed up with Netanyahu amid the Israel-Hamas war. As Netanyahu continued to say he would kill every last member of Hamas, Woodward penned,

"Biden had told him that was impossible, threatening both privately and publicly to withhold offensive U.S. weapons shipment."

However, White House spokesperson Emilie Simons has confirmed to the media that Biden and Netanyahu have a long-term relationship.

Did Biden warn Putin about the consequences of using nuclear weapons?

Bob Woodward's book has also claimed US intelligence indicated a 50% chance of Russia using nuclear weapons against Ukraine to avoid major losses. Woodward alleged that Biden warned Putin of the consequences of using nuclear weapons.

Moreover, the US Defence Secretary also allegedly had an intense call with Russia amid the fear of nuclear war.

Does the Saudi Crown Prince have a burner phone in Trump's name?

Another shocking claim that Bob Woodward makes in his book is about Trump's connections in the Middle East. Allegedly, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, an ally of Trump, told Woodward about one of his visits to the Middle East.

During a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Graham suggested they call Trump. According to the book, the prince pulled a burner phone labeled "TRUMP 45" from a bag. Allegedly, the prince also had a phone labeled "JAKE SULLIVAN," the US National Security Advisor.

The upcoming book has already raised many questions amid the ongoing political campaigns.
