Cori Clingman, the Maryland woman charged in the tragic car crash that killed three former Wise High School football players, including NFL rookie Khyree Jackson, has a history of speeding violations. According to The U.S. Sun, Cori Clingman had been caught speeding multiple times in the past.

Back in 2018, Cori Clingman was pulled over for going 69 mph in a 55 mph zone, which led to a year of unsupervised probation. Then, in 2020, she was caught speeding again, this time driving 100 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Though it's not clear what happened with that second violation yet, it’s evident this wasn’t her first run-in with the law for reckless driving.

24-year-old Cori Clingman was taken into custody on Thursday, January 23, and is facing charges of negligent manslaughter, homicide due to reckless driving, driving under the influence, and several other offenses, according to the Star-Tribune. If convicted, she could face up to 30 years behind bars, reported People Magazine.
