Bowen Berthelot, a 3-year-old boy from Denham Springs passed away on December 22, after being struck by heavy machinery in an accident with a skid-steer loader, according to a private journalist who runs the blog Natarly.org.
Although medical help was quickly provided to him, Bowen Berthelot ultimately succumbed to his severe injuries. However, according to Distractify, none of the family members have disclosed or confirmed the exact cause of death yet.
Jensen Berthelet, Bowen's aunt has now set up a GoFundMe account to help with funeral expenses on behalf of his mother, Kennedi Berthelot. With a $25K goal, the campaign has already raised over $74k. The description on the donation page bio reads:
"Our sweet Bowen Ross Berthelot has gained his angel wings at 3 years old. I have started this account to help with funeral expenses. If you feel compelled to donate, please do so here. We are so grateful for the outpouring of love from our community."
Bowen Berthelot was related to TikTok star Madison Stroncheck
According to Distractify, Bowen Berthelot was the nephew of TikTok influencer Madison Stroncheck who recently shared the devastating news with her followers. Madison often included her 3-year-old nephew Bowen in her videos. Their bond was so close that many viewers assumed he was her son.
On December 23, Madison posted a bittersweet video showing Bowen tasting her smoothie in the kitchen, cheerfully directing him to "say bye" to the camera. While the video appeared normal at first glance, Madison’s comments confirmed the heartbreaking loss of her nephew. She wrote:
"This is the hardest thing I have every been through in my life. My sweet baby is no longer with us but hes in heavon riding all the dirtbikes he could ever imagine. I lost my best friend and I am still in disbelief."
"Everytime I would see him his sweet face yelled “MIMI” and he was full of joy and kindness. The warm tight hugs and crazy play time will be truly missed. If you know me then you know this baby was my pride and joy and i never stopped talking about him. He was so loved its crazy."
Bowen Berthelot's family grieves his untimely death
Bowen's mother Kennedi Berthelot shared an Instagram post with a melange of pictures of him and her with the caption featuring a white dove emoji.
A relative named Jensen Berthelot also shared a post on her Facebook account with pictures of her and Bowen with a heart-wrenching caption.
