Shocking footage that shows 200 passengers getting off a Delta flight at the Atlanta Airport following an aborted takeoff on Friday is going viral. At the time, emergency slides were deployed. Four individuals sustained minor injuries, though one was hospitalized.

In the video, thick snow can be seen blanketing everything in sight as passengers flee from the plane with their belongings in their arms. The video has since drawn varied reactions, a good chunk of which is in regards to the snow. Here's what one user said, for example:

"Atlanta has snow?!"

Scores online chimed in with their own questions and opinions:

"I dont think there is snow it Atlanta???? Source?" one user pointed out.
"Some reason the airport couldn’t get a bus out there to pick these folks up?" another asked.
"People should NOT have been carrying their belongings when exiting the plan in an emergency evacuation - this is very bad," someone else opined.
"I’m just jealous they got to use the slides in the snow," one quipped.

The comments came pouring in:

"Kind of crazy that they did not close airport due to weather. Atlanta can’t handle snow. I wouldn’t have gotten on the plane," someone opined.
"The first people off the plane and they took their time to grab all their stuff and even their kids back packs. How thoughtful," another ridiculed.
"It's good to hear that the evacuation was carried out efficiently and that most injuries were minor. Safety is always the top priority in these situations. Hopefully, the passenger who was hospitalized recovers quickly. Glad everyone else is okay," a third person commented.
"Applause to the pilots and crew for getting everyone off safe," one cheered on.

Notably, scores online were visibly upset over seeing some of the passengers grab their belongings during an emergency escape.

Everything we know so far about the Delta flight that was forced to abort takeoff

Per Fox 5 Vegas, passengers were forced to exit the plane via the emergency slides at around 9:10 a.m. The plane, No. 2668, was headed to Minneapolis-St. Paul at the time. Passengers were then transferred to the terminal. All minor injuries were treated at the scene.

Delta told the outlet that the Boeing 757-300 showed signs of an engine problem, culminating in the aborted takeoff. The Federal Aviation Administration will conduct an investigation into the same.

“Delta’s flight crew followed established procedures to suspend the takeoff of flight 2668 from Atlanta (ATL) to Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) after an indication of an engine issue,” Delta said. “Nothing is more important than the safety of our people and customers, and we apologize to our customers for their experience. We are working to support our customers and get them to their destinations as safely and quickly as possible.”

Per CNBC, that same day, over 1,100 flights to and from the airport were either rescheduled or canceled, while well over 400 were delayed.
