In an interview with Fox 5 Atlanta, Frank Ski candidly spoke about how Wanda Smith was kind of like his 'work wife', explaining how she looked out for him and commenting on how close both their families were.
Frank Ski declined to disclose the details surrounding Wanda Smith's death, explaining that she wished to keep that information private. He mentioned that she was very protective of her personal life.
"She was so private that myself, Rickey Smiley and others wanted to do a fundraiser for her, and she shut it down. She would not let us do it. She didn't want people to know," Ski said, highlighting her desire for privacy even during difficult times

In a heartbroken post, Loni Love, an Emmy-winning comedian also said:
