Rapper and hip-hop artist Diamond The Body was recently arrested in Iowa for allegedly twerking on a car. Video footage across social media platforms shows that on December 29, right after her club appearance in Iowa, cops approached her car and detained her as she was reportedly twerking on a car.
Born in New York, the 32-year-old Sydonie Person, AKA Diamond The Body, gained popularity as a rapper after she dropped her singles "Drive the Boat," "Everything Big," and "Miami." She currently has one million followers on Instagram and around 60k subscribers on her YouTube channel. Before becoming a rapper and hip-hop artist, she used to make travel vlogs on YouTube.
Diamond The Body is also known for her appearance in the fifth and sixth seasons of Baddies, an American reality TV series. In both seasons of Baddies, Baddies Caribbean and Baddies Midwest, Diamond The Body attracted the audience with several feuds and altercations with other cast members, which led her to earn the MVB, or the most valuable baddie award, on Baddies Caribbean.
Netizens react as Diamond The Body was seemingly detained by the cops
On Sunday, December 29, multiple videos of Diamond The Body getting arrested surfaced across social media platforms. The videos show that right after her club appearance in Iowa, cops approached the car of Diamond The Body, searched her, and it appeared that she was arrested for allegedly twerking on her car. The cops took Diamond The Body to the police car without handcuffing her. After the incident, people all over the internet began reacting to it.
"They acting like she won't get out in 2 seconds," someone commented on Instagram.
