Community reactions are coming in after a 20-year-old TikToker, Noah Galle, was sentenced to 12 years and 180 days in prison for a fatal car crash that killed six farmworkers in Palm Beach County, Florida. This accident occurred on January 27, 2022, when Galle, then 17, was speeding his BMW M5 at 151 mph when he crashed into the rear of an SUV with the victims inside.
The sentencing has sent shock waves among the residents, as well as on social networking sites. The majority of the users think it was an inappropriate sentence for such a serious offense. Some responses echoing that sentiment is being posted by users describing the sentencing as “a joke” for the loss of six innocent lives and another calling it “shameful”.
As the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, on its Facebook page, shared the news, a user commented:
“Wow. His parents are wealthy and his father owes a law firm. They put all the hands on deck for this non sense penalty. Wow 12 years for 6 lives. Unbelievable.”
Another user added:
“Shameful sentencing for 6 innocent lives and numerous affected family members who will relive this trauma the rest of their lives.”
A comment read:
“This isn’t “justice” at all. People get worse for WAY less. This wasn’t 1 person that got killed, this was 6! This sentence is a slap in the face to all those families who lost their loved ones.”
Another user went on to say:
“This makes me physically ill. This is not justice for the six, hardworking, innocent people killed and their families.”
Yet another comment read:
“A little justice isn't sufficient in this case! I guess when your rich and have lawyers your life is worth about 6 times more than poor folks."

"There's not a day goes by that Noah doesn't think about his actions and what impact they have had on so many lives. He wishes every day that he had died in the accident and not the victims."
