While various charities often come together to serve meals for the ones in need, on Thanksgiving holiday, Islamic Relief USA and American Third Pillar Charities are also distributing free turkeys. About 600 turkeys will be offered to the underserved populations in Washington, DC. People can also donate a turkey to make the holiday a special one for others.
