Social Proofing is a phenomena where people usually look to their surroundings when they are confused, in order to find the right situational solutions. If most people around a person are studying for engineering, that person might lean towards engineering, too. Sometimes people can use this method to unconsciously affect a person’s decision. Creators of a movie, often highlight the good reviews of their movie, which force the audience to go and watch it.
