Last week on Hollyoaks, from August 12th to August 16th, things took a stark turn as secrets were revealed and confrontations blew up. Emotions ran high as families struggled to stay together.

Let's take a look at what you missed on this favorite British soap opera.

Ro mends fences with siblings while Diane causes a divide

Ro caught Ant filming while Ro was being taunted. Ant admitted that he was part of the plan of catfishing Ash. Ro and Ant make up with Ava's help.

Tony had enough of Diane's drinking and was embarrassed when she drank too much and talked about Ro in front of their friends. His resentment led to a heated argument during which a mug was broken, and Diane left in tears. Tony later apologized but asked Diane to choose between drinking and their marriage. Diane said she would change her habits the next day and poured another glass.

On Hollyoaks, Warren tried to turn a new leaf

Warren told his friends — including Blue — that he wanted a better life for himself and his children. Blue called off his plan to make Warren suffer, but when he went to Norma's and saw Joel strung out on drugs, he changed his mind.

Warren went to Joel's and found his son nearly dead. While Joel was calling for help, he spotted Norma on the floor with a note that read, "I'm coming for you." Realizing she was dead, he sunk to the floor and screamed.

Nancy had her hearing and worried she could lose her teaching job forever if found guilty. She thinks there must be a reason Frankie is saying she pushed her.

Frankie found the courage to confide in Darren on Hollyoaks

Frankie looked forward to leaving home, and J.J. got the United contract. At the signing, Darren noticed Frankie pulled away from her brother. In the changing room, J.J. tried attacking Frankie, but she got away and locked herself away. She managed to get Oliver's attention out the window and signaled to him for help. When Darren arrived, J.J. was yelling and beating on the door, then lied that the lock was faulty.

Once Frankie was saved and alone with Darren, she told him the truth, that J.J. had been sexually abusing her for years. Darren was horrified and realized he'd seen all the signs but didn't connect the dots. He promised Frankie he would do anything needed to help her, but Frankie asked him not to say anything.

Darren confronted J.J., who tried to convince Darren that Frankie was sick and a liar. He denied everything but slipped up and denied raping his sister. Darren pointed out that he had never said that word and asked J.J. how he knew what Darren meant if he was innocent. Once home, Darren told Suzanne what J.J. did. Suzanne turned on Frankie, called her a liar, and told her that Frankie had disgusted her. With Darren and Suzanne clearly on different sides, Suzanne packed their bags and took J.J.

After attending grief group counseling with Dave, Warren came home to find the police with a search warrant. They showed Warren a bullet and said that it was the same kind used to kill Norma. Warren said he was set up but was arrested.

Will J.J. go to jail, and will Warren be released? These questions and more will be revealed this week when you tune into Channel 4 for more Hollyoaks drama.
