Sasha and Willow on General Hospital

Willow enjoyed a morning workout at the boathouse just as a shirtless Drew came along. Willow lost balance striking a yoga pose and fell straight into Drew's arms. Willow was quickly flustered as she gathered her exercise equipment and bolted.

In the Quartermaine kitchen, Nina and Sasha sat over breakfast, catching up on life. Nina sang Drew's praises, telling Sasha she was sure that Drew would make a wonderful congressman. Sasha was intrigued by how well Drew and Nina were getting along. Nina even wanted Sasha to cater a campaign event for Drew. Sasha finally had to know what was going on.

"So, are you and Drew seeing each other and keeping it on the down-low for the sake of his campaign?" Sasha asked. Nina denied that she and Drew were involved, but Sasha didn't believe her, calling Nina "invested." Nina corrected her and said she was just dedicated to ensuring Drew got elected.

Nina soon had to admit she thought she and Drew could be more after the election. Willow overheard part of the conversation before walking into the kitchen but didn't quite understand what Sasha and Nina were really talking about.

Nina was thrilled to see Willow, and mother and daughter made small talk. Nina told Willow she was trying to get Sasha to cater a fundraiser for Drew. Willow mentioned that she had seen Drew at the boathouse, so Nina left to find him. Once Sasha and Willow were alone, Willow seemed a bit off, so Sasha asked if her friend was okay.

Willow tried brushing off Sasha's concerns until Sasha made a confession. Sasha said she had seen Willow and Drew kissing on the Fourth of July. Willow shrugged it off, telling Sasha that it had just been a kiss. Sasha was pleased, but a guilty Willow couldn't contain her feelings anymore and told Sasha that it had happened again the night John had been killed.

"I don't want to have feelings for Drew, but I do...How could I do something so reckless twice? What is wrong with me?" Willow wondered while insisting that she and Michael were happy. Willow rationalized that Drew would be in DC most of the time if he got elected, so they wouldn't be near each other anymore.

As Willow tried to assure herself things would be fine, she finally broke down in tears. "I feel so out of control," Willow said. Sasha reminded Willow it was just a few kisses that hadn't gone any further, so Willow and Drew should just forget about it.

Nina tracked down Drew to talk about the fundraiser. Drew surprised her when he said, "This is not working for me."

Nina was taken aback until Drew explained that he wondered if running for office was the right thing to do. He was down in the polls and didn't want his private life scrutinized. Nina assured Drew that he could overcome his polling deficit. Drew lamented that his opponent had a husband and a family at every event, so Nina reminded him he had Scout.

Drew said he didn't want to use Scout as a prop. Nina then suggested that Drew use her instead. Nina thought she and Drew could appear in public, arm in arm. "It's just a matter of time before potential voters could perceive us as the country's new power couple," Nina said with a smile.

Sam stopped by Michael's office to talk about Kristina. Sam demanded that Michael tell her everything he knew about Kristina's whereabouts the night John had been killed. Sam asked point-blank if Kristina had killed John. Michael adamantly told her no. Sam found Michael's certainty suspicious and asked him if he knew who the real culprit was.

Sam explained to Michael how horrified she was watching Alexis protect Kristina and be blamed for a murder she hadn't committed. She was determined to find John's real killer, but Michael played dumb. A frustrated Sam blew up at him. "Dammit Michael, you and I both know that Sonny killed Cates or gave the order. So, which one is it?" Sam asked.

Michael continued to deny knowing anything about the murder but was sure that Alexis wouldn't be convicted just from circumstantial evidence. Michael assured Sam that once the police found the gun that Alexis had tossed, they could prove it hadn't been the gun used to kill John.

Sam finally left but not before asking Michael some important questions. "I hope they clear my mom, but what if they don't? What will you do? Will you let an innocent woman go to prison?" she asked.

Sonny was surprised when Molly showed up at his door. When Sonny told Molly he planned to be at Alexis' arraignment, she told her uncle that appearing in court was the worst thing he could do for Alexis. "If you're in the courtroom, that's just going to taint her by association," Molly said.

Sonny argued that he felt he needed to be there for Kristina. "Kristina needs to see that her father shows up for her mother," Sonny said. Molly argued that it wasn't Kristina's arraignment, and it was not about Kristina at all. The day was about Alexis.

Nothing Molly said got through to Sonny. He still insisted on being there for Kristina as Molly became more exasperated that everyone was still trying to coddle her older sister. Sonny insisted that Kristina needed him. Molly pointed out that Kristina thought Sonny had needed her when she'd shown up at Ava's hotel suite to refuse to testify against him.

Sonny immediately told Molly that Kristina had had no idea what would happen when she'd gone to see Ava. Sonny said that Kristina was suffering thanks to that decision. An incredulous Molly reminded Sonny that she and T.J. were also suffering. Molly got ready to leave but reiterated why she was there.

"Kristina needs her mom to make bail more than she needs to see you offering support from the back of the courtroom," Molly said. Sonny agreed not to go but urged Molly to put away her anger toward Kristina for one day.

After Molly was gone, Michael arrived to make sure the gun Sonny had used to kill John was gone. Sonny told Michael that Jason had gotten rid of it. When Michael heard that Molly had been to see Sonny, he wondered if Molly and Sam's visits had been coordinated, but Sonny didn't think so.

Michael told Sonny that Sam suspected that Sonny had killed John. Both Sonny and Michael worried that Kristina might tell the cops too much. Sonny said he didn't regret killing John, but he hated Michael covering for him. Sonny admitted that when he'd seen Michael standing there the night he'd shot John, he had feared that he'd been caught and that Michael would turn him in.

"You had all the power in the world, and you chose me," Sonny said. Sonny put his hand on Michael's heart and said that he loved Michael.

Kristina burst into the PCPD interrogation room to see Alexis and announced that she planned to confess. Kristina would tell the authorities that she had stolen the gun from Sonny and driven to the Quartermaines' to kill John, but she had chickened out and driven away. Alexis was horrified and begged Kristina to keep her mouth shut.

Alexis and Kristina argued back and forth until Alexis set things straight. "If you come forward, you will either make me look guiltier, or you will inadvertently incriminate yourself," Alexis said.

Kristina insisted that she just wanted to help, so Alexis said Kristina could do that by doing exactly what Alexis said. "Let me handle this. Let me fight this battle for both of us," Alexis said. Kristina finally agreed.

Sam later caught up with Kristina outside the courtroom. When Kristina asked if Sam had seen Sonny, Molly appeared and announced that Sonny wouldn't be there. Kristina knew Molly had told Sonny not to come. All three Davis girls then entered the courtroom. The judge was surprised to see that Alexis was representing herself.

The FBI prosecutor requested that bail be denied, but Alexis defended herself. Still, the judge wasn't moved and sent Alexis to Pentonville to await trial.

Trina met up with Stella for breakfast and they discussed what had been going on in each of their lives. Trina said things were going well at work. Stella was impressed with Trina's eye for art, but she wanted Trina to focus on her education and return to Port Charles University.

Stella said Trina seemed to just be going through the motions and maintaining her life, so Trina argued that maintaining was all she could manage. Stella recalled Trina telling her that she was afraid she'd lose Spencer forever if she stopped grieving. Stella believed it was time for Trina to move on.

"You still have your whole life ahead of you. How do you want to spend it? Hiding in that gallery, or is there something bigger that you want to accomplish?" Stella asked, giving Trina some food for thought.
