Will General Hospital's Tracy be the one to bring Drew down?

To almost everyone — if not everyone — on General Hospital, the name “Drew” is now synonymous with evil. Drew (Cameron Mathison) has been hard at work making an enemy out of every person you can think of in town, namely those who once trusted him. They include Michael (Chad Duell), Carly (Laura Wright), Curtis (Donnell Turner), Sonny (Maurice Bernard), and his own brother, Jason (Steve Burton).

So, it seems inevitable that Drew’s demise is steadily approaching. But, the million-dollar question is — who will deliver his comeuppance? Although the baton was thought to be handed to Portia (Brook Kerr) after Drew’s blackmailing scheme went live, there now seems to be another person he’s burned who is willing to take the reins- his aunt, Tracy (Jane Elliot).

Is Tracy the woman for this General Hospital job?

Following her recent arrest and detainment due to Drew’s antics at the Quartermaine crypt and her temper, Tracy has begun to hatch a plan to deal with Drew. She has expressed to Drew in no uncertain terms her disdain for him for a number of reasons — his betrayal of Michael and subsequent relationship with Willow (Katelyn McMullen), as well as, of course, his mistreatment of Monica (Leslie Charleson).

As a person who is all about family, Tracy is determined to go toe-to-toe with Drew and is now even more willing to do so as Drew is plotting to disrupt the Quartermaine crypt, which houses her beloved family members.

Drew vs. Tracy - Who will win?

The March 17 episode gave us Martin (Michael E. Knight) getting arrested due to neglected financial obligations with one of his ex-wives. Tracy showed up mid-arrest to let Martin know that she was indeed behind it.

As Drew is preparing to launch his Pediatric Sports initiative at General Hospital and hold a press conference for it no less, Tracy could seize this opportunity to shed some light on Drew’s recent behaviors as well as his plans as a congressman and what the initiative is most likely really about – Drew trying to make himself look good.

AAD - Allies Against Drew

Tracy’s campaign against Drew could be through private investigators or she could link up with the likes of Portia, Carly, Ava (Maura West), and Nina (Cynthia Watros), who are already plotting how they will Drew down a peg — or several. However, with Carly at GH due to poisoning, she may be out of the ally count for now.

Tracy has Quartermaine funds along with familial ties to the local government and law enforcement. Furthermore, Curtis has influence through Aurora Media and could run another piece about Drew, if need be. So, Tracy has the bulk of Port Charles on her side against Drew, endless funds, government allies, and a grit that will see her stop at nothing until the problem of Drew Quartermaine has been solved.
