On General Hospital, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) has had a roller-coaster life. He initially believed he was his twin brother, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), because of an insane memory-mapping project begun by the evil Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). While he never fully got his memories restored, he made a successful life for himself. He hasn’t had much of a genuine romance except for flings with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and later Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) when they believed he was Jason.
He was also briefly with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) until she suffered serious mental illness due to grief after their son, Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt), died of cancer. He had a romance with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), but when a presumed-dead Jason came back to Port Charles, Drew bowed out of the relationship, realizing Jason would always come first for her.
Now, he’s due for a real, lasting romance.
Nina Reeves
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had turned Carly and Drew in to the SEC for insider trading, and when that whole thing blew up, he got sent to prison. Upon his release, he had nothing but rage and contempt for Nina. He was her boss at Crimson magazine, and after months of verbally thrashing each other, they ended up having hate sex.

Since then, they’ve been able to shed their animosity toward one another and learn to respect each other for their good qualities. There’s still a little tension every so often, especially since he kissed her very married daughter Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). But now Nina’s helping him on his campaign to become a US congressman. She felt that since his opponent is a family man, he would need her on his arm to present a similar image to voters.
While they’re not officially a couple, they do have a strange sort of chemistry and could potentially work out.
Willow Corinthos
Lately, it seems that Drew has had eyes for every woman that’s crossed his path. Because Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is his nephew, and Michael lives with his wife Willow in the Quartermaine gatehouse, the three are often in close proximity. Drew was part of the team of Port Charles heroes who saved the world from annihilation when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) planned to unleash a fatal pathogen that would have wiped out most of humanity.
Victor held Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) as his hostage so she could come up with an anti-pathogen for him and the few he was taking into hiding. At the time, Willow was dying from leukemia and Liesl was the only match for bone marrow donation. So when Drew and his team thwarted Victor’s plan, they got Liesl back to Port Charles in time to save Willow’s life. That brought the two close, as Willow admired his heroism.
On July 4, in a moment of excitement after Drew announced his candidacy for the House of Representatives, he and Willow shared a kiss. Despite assuring each other that it was a one-off mistake, they ended up kissing again on the August 30 episode, and Willow admitted to Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) that she’s starting to develop feelings for the guy. If the truth comes out, it will most likely end Willow and Michael’s marriage, leaving her free to date Drew.
Many fans are disgusted by the fact that she’s his niece-in-law, so it’s unclear if the two would work out as a couple.
Jordan Ashford
Every time Drew sees Deputy Mayor Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), he gazes at her longingly. The two definitely have chemistry, but it looks like General Hospital is pushing her toward newcomer Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). A Jordan and Drew relationship would be interesting, but they’ll have to pair these two together in scenes to test out what the fans think. Jordan also has insane chemistry with Brick (Stephen A. Smith), so there could potentially be a love quadrangle in her future.
