Travel back in time with General Hospital's Eva LaRue

Almost a year has flown by since Eva LaRue joined General Hospital to play Natalia Rogers-Ramirez. She was introduced as the mother of Alison “Blaze” Ramirez (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) who had difficulty coming to terms with her daughter’s sexuality. However, with the passage of time and the sage advice of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Natalia’s become a character that fans can now root for. LaRue has had a long career that started in 1986, and she recently used social media to take her fans on a jaunt down memory lane.

On Instagram, LaRue wrote, “One More Year Around The Sun Completed😃 Oof, some of those years looked rough!😂. #birthday #bye57 #thisis58. Thank you to the lovely soul who made this video! Whoever you are😍.”

The video to which she is referring was made by TikTok user @whatyour1567 and is a montage of the various stages in LaRue’s life, using morphing software to show her evolving through the years. Set to the U2 song Beautiful Day, the images of the General Hospital star begin in 1991 when she was 25 years old, and she’s morphed through the years with various ones (and her ages as she progresses) overlaid on each subsequent photo.

@whatyour1567’s TikTok page is chock full of similar videos of various stars including the iconic Tim Allen, superstar Keanu Reeves, Friends alum Jennifer Aniston, and many more. On LaRue’s post, her co-star Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) eagerly responded, “You look fab 💕💕💕 better than ever.”

The actress had previously delved into the soap opera world when she played Dr. Maria Santos Grey on All My Children from 1993 to 2011. Her then-co-star Winsor Harmon, who played Del Henry on the show, also chimed in with, “You Look exactly as you did my first day on AMC!!” Model and cousin Cami Evans also wrote, “Ok this is so cool and you are the most beautiful girl inside and out. Love you, my sweet cousin. Happiest of birthdays 🎂🎉🎈❤️.”

@damitjoa, who also remembered LaRue from AMC, wrote, “And STILL as beautiful as your AMC Maria days!! Happy Birthday!🎂🎉😍.” Even an international follower, @dudiaflalo, responded, “You didn’t change at all 😍😍 Happy birthday from Israel we love you here !❤️🎂🎂🎉.”

Birthday wishes and compliments poured in for the General Hospital star, with her fan @thedivarobin jokingly replying, “Such a beauty! Also, annoying that you aren’t falling apart like the rest of us. 🤨😉.”
