Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on General Hospital

Kristina's crash crime and its aftermath continue to defy logic and just make Lucky look worse every day. Now, he is discouraging Kristina from confessing because she's just a good person who made a mistake. WHAT?!?!? How did he go from "You need to pay, Kristina" to "That's okay, it was one little boo-boo that nearly killed the mother of my only child" so quickly? When he told her that Ric's car was already destroyed, so there was no evidence that she cut the brakes, all we could do was scratch our heads. So, the mechanic told Ava that the brakes were cut and didn't call the police? The insurance company? Nothing? He just let a car that was obviously tampered with head to the compactor to be crushed? That's not how these things work. If someone knows a car was deliberately sabotaged, they don't allow the evidence to be destroyed. But it is awfully convenient, right? Since Ava is now going to blackmail Alexis with the promise to stay quiet about what Kirstina did, we have to make sure the evidence doesn't exist, even if the entire scenario defies all logic. At least GH went the unexpected route when it came to blackmail. Like Ric, we were sure that Ava was going to extort money from Sonny, but she chose Alexis instead since Ava feels the Cassadine money belongs to her anyway. At least that will keep things more interesting and prevent Sonny from collapsing on the floor.
