Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on General Hospital

Lois has been trying so hard to make sure that nobody figures out that Gio is Brook Lynn and Dante's son, yet she did something super stupid on Thursday. Lois is already aware that Lulu found the notes that Marty took on their consultation about the baby that Brook Lynn gave up for adoption. Lois knows that Lulu is well aware that she handled the adoption and that Brook Lynn had a son. So, why would she bring it to Lulu's attention and nobody else's that Sonny has been supporting Gio ever since he started playing violin? Lulu found the conversation to be a bit odd, but reminded herself that although Sonny is a master criminal, he is also a generous man who helps his family. Later, it seemed to make a lot more sense to Lulu when Gio mentioned that he had been born in Los Angeles. Brook Lynn was on tour in L.A. with Lois when she gave birth. You could see the horror on Lois' face and the light bulb moment on Lulu's face as soon as Gio casually mentioned that tidbit about his life. This also means nobody in Brooklyn ever saw Gio's mother pregnant. Now, Lulu is putting it all together, but would she be suspicious had Lois not given her a piece of the puzzle by gushing over Sonny's generosity toward a kid he was allegedly not even related to? For someone who has been so determined to keep her secret buried, she sure did screw up.
