Anna found Britt at the hospital and asked where Liesl was. "In prison, where you can't shoot her," Britt replied. Anna knew that Britt hadn't been sure about Liesl's innocence, so she wondered what had changed Britt's mind. Britt insisted that she was capable of making her own conclusions, and she didn't have to answer to Anna, anyway. Anna assumed that Liesl had made contact and again asked where Liesl was. Britt thought that the WSB would usually provide that information to Anna. She challenged Anna to figure out why the WSB no longer trusted Anna and walked away.
In an exam room, Terry explained the radiation procedure and possible side effects to Franco and Elizabeth. "Whatever it takes to beat this, we'll do it," Elizabeth said confidently. When they left the room, they bumped into Finn and informed him that they wouldn't be attending his wedding. Finn knew that it was because of Peter, and he hoped everything turned out all right for the couple. He continued that it had been a huge breach of security, but Franco chimed in that he knew who had done it. He disclosed that he'd heard Britt yelling at Peter for accessing Franco's medical records, and Elizabeth related that she trusted neither of them. Finn wished them luck and walked away.
Terry approached Franco and Elizabeth, and Elizabeth asked for a minute before Franco's first radiation treatment. Terry replied that that was no problem, as the scheduled technician was refusing to treat Franco after an affected relative had seen the Invader article. She assured them that she'd filed an incident report, and another technician was on the way. Franco went off with Terry for his treatment. Elizabeth saw Britt step off the elevator and angrily apprised her of the situation, which she blamed on Britt. Britt accepted responsibility for the security breach as chief of staff, and she was sorry for the "pain and chaos" caused by the article.
Later, Terry found Britt to discuss a "sensitive matter." Britt replied that she'd already heard about the technician, and she thanked Terry for filing the report. She continued that the technician had already been placed on suspension, and termination papers would be drawn up the following day. She refused to have the staff think that they could determine who did and didn't deserve medical treatment. A pleasantly surprised Terry thanked Britt and walked away.
Finn bumped into Anna as she got off the elevator, and she told him about her conversation with Britt. Finn deduced that the WSB suspected Peter of something. Anna couldn't wait for Liesl to strike, and she'd decided that she needed to go after Liesl "right now." Finn reminded her that they were getting married in a few days, but Anna knew that she wouldn't feel comfortable getting married, not knowing where Liesl was. Finn decided that he would go with her. Anna cited a few reasons why he couldn't, but he challenged them all. Seeing no other way to go by herself, Anna figured they'd better go so they could be back in time for their wedding.
At the cemetery, Josslyn put a bouquet of flowers on Mike's grave, and Carly did the same on Morgan's. Carly was sure that Sonny was with the two, and she hoped they were happy together. Although not much was known about the afterlife, Josslyn liked to believe that she would see her loved ones again one day. She added that she hated that Nelle was buried in the same cemetery, but Carly assured Josslyn that Nelle was on the other side of the cemetery. Josslyn would never wish death on anyone, but she was glad to never have to hear Nelle's name again. Carly broke it to Josslyn that she would be hearing about Nelle a lot, thanks to Carly and Jax, and she updated Josslyn on what had happened.
Josslyn thought about lying and keeping secrets to protect loved ones, but she saw the lines between that and protecting oneself blurred. Carly agreed and cited Sonny as a perfect example of that. Josslyn regretted that Sonny was gone, as she'd loved him, too. Carly assured Josslyn that Sonny had loved her, and remembering that love would console them.
Across the cemetery at Nathan's grave, Peter insisted that Franco was a potential threat, but Valentin believed that Peter was in denial about his life "unraveling." Valentin had "theories" about Peter, but he needed to hear it from Peter. After a minute of badgering, Peter finally admitted that he'd framed Liesl for all of his crimes. He confessed to hiring the hitman to kill Franco and Andre, to playing an "integral role" in Drew's original abduction, and to arranging to have Drew's plane sabotaged. "I did all that and more," Peter concluded darkly.
Peter reasoned that he'd wanted to beat Faison and leave him with nothing. He continued that after he'd been redeemed, his past kept catching up with him, so he was attempting damage control. He'd published the article about Franco so that, if Drew's memories of Peter popped back up, Franco's claims would be "discredited as the ravings of a madman with a brain tumor." Peter sighed, admitting that it had felt good to get all of that out, but he wondered what Valentin was going to do with the information.
Valentin talked about how the information would destroy Anna and Maxie, and Peter insisted that he'd never really wanted to do any of it. Valentin suggested that Peter admit his role so that Liesl no longer had power over him, but Peter refused. Valentin didn't want to be considered an accomplice, but Peter urged Valentin to keep quiet for Anna and Maxie. Valentin advised Peter to brace himself for Liesl's revenge, but he promised that Peter could count on him. He vowed to do everything he could to minimize the pain inflicted on Peter's loved ones.
Sonny answered the ringing phone at the roadhouse and identified himself as Mike. On the other end of the line, a confused Nina asked for Phyllis. "Mike" handed the phone to Phyllis, who was delighted to learn that Nina had found her daughter. Nina told Phyllis that she had some photos of who she believed was her daughter and her adoptive father for Phyllis to identify. She wondered if she could arrange to have Phyllis fly out to Port Charles, but Phyllis answered that things were complicated, so it wasn't a good time for her to leave town.
Ava entered Nina's office as Nina apologized to Phyllis for being presumptuous, and she promised to figure something out. When Nina was off the phone, Ava invited her out for a drink at the Metro Court bar, but Nina replied that she wanted to avoid the Metro Court for a while. Nina updated Ava on all of the information she'd found out about her daughter, Nelle. Ava was shocked, but she admitted that she had liked Nelle while Nelle had worked at the gallery -- until Nelle had started blackmailing Ava.
Nina suggested that the overdose that Madeline had given Nina had affected Nelle's brain development, but Ava believed that Nelle had been a broken person that no one could fix. Nina related that it wasn't too late for Wiley, and she vowed to be a constant presence in his life. Ava warned her that "getting access to a Corinthos child" was easier said than done. Before going through the inevitable "long, ugly fight," Ava advised Nina to think about whether or not she really wanted to know if Nelle was her daughter.
"Mike" noticed that Phyllis looked down, and he offered to listen if she wanted to talk about it. She briefly told Sonny about Nina and her baby, and how happy she'd been when Nina had just told her that Nina had found her daughter. "Mike" wondered if Phyllis wasn't traveling to see Nina because of him. Phyllis talked about keeping an eye on "Mike's" dosage and its effects, but he insisted that he would be all right without her hovering for a day. He added that they would both feel bad about it if she didn't go. He refused to keep her from caring for people, which was what he believed she did best.
Nina was surprised to get a call from Phyllis. A few minutes later, Ava advised her to think about how she would feel if Phyllis could confirm that Nelle was her daughter -- and how she would feel if Phyllis couldn't confirm that Nelle was her daughter. Nina maintained that she had to pursue the lead and that she would make up for all she'd lost with Nelle with Wiley.
Later, Phyllis informed "Mike" that her trip to Port Charles was set, and she hoped to confirm who Nina's daughter was. "Mike" joked that Phyllis could help him figure out who he was at some point, too. She replied that if Nina could find her daughter after so many years, there was plenty of hope for "Mike."
Someone flipped through the pages of Alex's will. The person placed a flash drive and a note that said "For Peter" into an envelope and sealed it. The person turned the envelope over. It was addressed to Peter, and the return sender was "D. Marick."
