At the WSB station, Brennan was told that Sidwell was holding three US citizens, so he organized a drone strike. Colette told Brennan he wasn't authorized and asked what would happen if the UN found out. Brennan said he would go to the Hague and be charged with war crimes, but he would tell them that she had tried to stop him.

Sonny and Carly tried to have dinner together. They bickered, and she was too distracted. Carly called Brennan but was told he was too busy to take her call. Carly told Sonny she had to go. Knowing people were watching, Carly reluctantly forced herself to kiss Sonny's cheek before leaving.

Martin entered the restaurant and walked to the bar. Sonny walked over and asked if Martin had seen Alexis. Martin said Alexis was coping, but he couldn't tell Sonny what their legal strategy was. Sonny said he was paying Martin to do whatever it took. "That's the plan," Martin said.

On the terrace, Diane had dinner with Robert. She told him about meeting Jack Brennan and how she'd had to chase him away from Carly. Robert warned Diane that Brennan was powerful and dangerous. He agreed that Diane was a hard woman to play, but she might have met her match in Brennan.

Across the restaurant, Lucy's jaw dropped when she saw Sonny and Carly together. Later, she told Natalia how Sonny and Carly had tried to get back together when he had returned from Nixon Falls. As she was gossiping, Sonny approached their table. He asked if he could talk to his business associate. Lucy gathered her things and let Sonny take her seat.

Lucy was leaving but spotted Martin at the bar. She walked over to say hello, and he told her he was representing Alexis. Lucy assumed he had been too busy to call her. Martin said he had changed, but the new version of him didn't want to spend time with her any more than the old one did. "Ever? How can you say that to me?" Lucy wondered. "Surprisingly easily," Martin said. He told Lucy that one of the perks of self-improvement was knowing when to cut one's losses. "Give my best to Scott Baldwin," Martin said as he walked away.

Diane approached Natalia and Sonny's table and asked where Carly was. She pulled Sonny aside and scolded him for not being able to follow instructions. Sonny said that Carly had needed to leave, and he'd had no control over that. "Your freedom depends on your alibi," Diane reminded him. "You need to know, without a doubt, that Carly will not let me down," Sonny said.

Back at the table, Natalia asked Sonny what was happening with him and Carly. Sonny said that he wasn't involved with any of his exes, but Carly would always be in his life. Natalia said she had her own problems and wasn't one to judge. Sonny said that he wasn't one to get scared off easily. Natalia was concerned about getting involved with men who were already involved with another woman and mixing personal with business.

When Tracy caught Cody and Sasha kissing in the stables, Cody assumed Tracy would fire Sasha. Tracy surprised them both when she explained her reaction at the boathouse. Tracy said she had reached the unfortunate conclusion that she was out of line.

"I'm often at odds with my family. It's the price I pay for being the sane one," Tracy said. She added that seeing Cody's family so happy together had caught her off guard, and she had overreacted. "I won't bore you with the details of my self-awareness, but I was wrong, and I am sorry," Tracy said.

Sasha and Cody said Tracy was freaking them out, but they appreciated it. Cody told Tracy that he didn't think she was at odds with her family as much as she thought. Tracy said they made a lovely couple but advised them to get a room with a lock.

At the hospital, Felicia asked Elizabeth how Lulu was doing. Elizabeth said Lulu was running out of time. Felicia asked how Elizabeth felt about Lucky returning home. Elizabeth said she hadn't sorted out her feelings, but if Aiden wanted to get to know Lucky while he was there, she would make that happen. She just hoped she wouldn't have to pick up the pieces.

Felicia empathized with Elizabeth and recalled how long it had taken her to get over Frisco. Elizabeth credited Epiphany with teaching her to put one foot before the other. "I found myself, but I'm not sure that Lucky ever did that," Elizabeth said.

At the compound, Anna and Jason held each other in their cell, crying that they were about to die. Jason started kissing Anna as the guards approached. "Hope you two are saying goodbye," a guard said while taking them out of the cell. Anna attacked one of the guards, and Jason tried to fight the other two, but they were overpowered.

The guards took Anna and Jason outside the building and told them to get on their knees. As Jason and Anna were about to be executed, drones hit. The explosion killed one of the guards, and the other two ran off. Jason and Anna stole the dead guard's guns and used his handcuff keys to unlock their cuffs. Then they went back into the building to find Lucky.

Meanwhile, Holly managed to take Sidwell's gun and pointed it at him while Lucky got his ankle unchained. Sidwell knocked the gun out of Holly's hand. Lucky and Holly jumped on Sidwell. Lucky managed to get the gun back, but Sidwell held a knife to Holly and called Lucky's bluff. Lucky lowered the gun, and Holly managed to get away. Lucky called for her help as Sidwell choked him, but Sidwell said Holly had left Lucky to die.

Sidwell was overpowering Lucky, but Jason knocked him unconscious. Jason was going to kill Sidwell, but Lucky said to just leave him. They took Sidwell's gun and ran outside. They weren't sure which direction to go when a Jeep backed up quickly toward them. "Don't just stand there—get in!" Holly yelled from the driver's seat. Jason, Lucky, and Anna scrambled to get into the Jeep. Anna told Holly to drive to the airfield.

Carly rushed into Brennan's office, and he showed her why he was too busy to take her call. He had satellite images of the drone strikes at the compound. "I got word your friends needed backup. I only hope I helped them in time," he said.

Brennan got word that four passengers were on a plane. "I don't know anything about a fourth," Carly said. Brennan told her that they were in prohibited airspace, but the experienced pilot would do everything he could to get them to safety.

On the plane, Jason told Lucky they had found him because of Isaiah. Anna thanked Holly for not leaving them behind. Holly said she didn't want to be the one to tell Robert that Anna was dead. "Also, I doubt the WSB would've let me on the plane without you," Holly said as she smiled. Anna told Lucky that they weren't the only ones looking for him.

Brennan told Carly that he had been notified that the plane had just crossed into international airspace and would land in New York in the morning. Carly had tears of joy and hugged him as she thanked Brennan.

At the compound, Sidwell told his guards to get a car so he could go after Holly. "She has my diamonds!" Sidwell said. On the plane, Holly looked at the diamonds in her purse but closed it before Jason could see.

Anna said that Laura and Kevin had gone to the refugee camp to look for Lucky. Lucky said the camp was remote but out of the line of fire. He hoped his mom was safe. Lucky asked how Lulu was. Anna told him what was wrong and that Lulu needed a transplant from a family member. Lucky knew he was the donor. Anna asked if there was anything she could do for him. Lucky asked to borrow her phone.

At the nurses' desk, Elizabeth answered the phone. "Elizabeth?" Lucky said. Elizabeth froze as she recognized his voice.

On the next General Hospital:

  • Curtis asks Nina, "What exactly is happening?"
  • Terry asks Elizabeth, "Is anything about Lucky being back a good thing for you?"
  • Lucky says, "You could have stopped all of this from happening."
  • Brennan asks Robert, "How worried should I be about Holly Sutton?"
  • Mac tells Holly, "You're right, I don't believe you."
  • Anna says to Felicia, "I think this mission was more than I expected."
  • Carly tells Jason, "That's a name I didn't expect to hear."
