Former General Hospital star Briana Nicole Henry had an Oscar night she will never forget.
When General Hospital's Briana Nicole Henry left Jordan Ashford behind in 2021, she took on a new role as mom to a beautiful little girl named Coda. Now, she can add another role to her credits -- wife of an Oscar winner.
Henry's husband Kris Bowers took home Oscar gold on March 10 when he won an Academy Award for the short film The Last Repair Shop, for which he served as executive producer and director.
The Last Repair Shop tells the story of "four unassuming heroes who ensure no student is deprived of the joy of music," according to IMDB. Bowers hailed these music lovers in his acceptance speech, while introducing the twelve-year-old violinist featured in the film.

"The Last Repair Shop is about the heroes in our schools who often go unsung, unthanked, and unseen. Tonight you are sung, you are thanked, and you are seen," he said, adding, "This is Porch Brinkerd. She's twelve years old. She's going to play violin in public school. L.A. is one of the last cities in America to give public school students free and freely repaired instruments."
Bowers also made sure to offer shout-outs to his wife and baby girl in his acceptance speech.
"My Mom and Dad, and also to my wife Briana and our daughter, Coda. I love you. I love you. I love you," an elated Bowers said.
Little Coda just celebrated a second birthday, and mom Briana sent her special wishes on Instagram on March 1, saying, "You are the greatest love letter I will ever write. Happy 2nd birthday baby, what a beautiful life it is to know you."
Henry assumed the role of Jordan Ashford in 2018. In September 2021, she shocked fans by announcing her exit from the show the same day that her character was ushered off-screen. She also appeared as Esmerelda on The Young and the Restless back in 2014. Henry was scheduled to appear in only one episode, but her role was later expanded to 16 episodes.
