Joshua Benard checks back into General Hospital as Adam. Will he be sticking around a little longer this time?
There's good news for fans of Joshua Benard because he's set to return to GH the week of September 11 as Josslyn Jacks's (Eden McCoy) classmate Adam. However, it's unclear just how long he will remain on canvas. With Soap Opera Digest hinting in their fall previews that Josslyn's circle of friends grows when she heads to med school -- and Fall Sweeps around the corner -- Joshua's return seems timely.
If Joshua's last name looks familiar, that's because he's the son of legendary Maurice Benard, who has played the infamous Sonny Corinthos for the past three decades, earning him an impressive three Daytime Emmys. Acting is definitely in Joshua's genes. However, Joshua is also a gifted musician, which he shares with the world on State of Mind, where father and son discussed Joshua's love for both acting and music.
Joshua's first appearance on GH was in 2022, but Adam got off to a rocky start when he made some derogatory remarks to Josslyn following Esme Prince's (Avery Kristen Pohl) despicable act of posting Josslyn's first intimate encounter with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) online in an effort to frame Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) for the revenge porn. Luckily, Adam saw the error of his ways, and he offered Josslyn a sincere apology, which she accepted.
What do you think? Should Adam stick around to give both Dex and Spencer a little competition? We want to hear from you -- so drop your comments in the Comments section below, tweet about it on Twitter, share it on Facebook, or chat about it on our Message Boards.
