General Hospital's Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) have been one of the soap's most popular potential pairings since the characters first crossed paths in 2021. Viewers noticed the chemistry between these characters, dubbed Sprina, from day one and have been dreaming of the moment they finally reach official status. Fans have been patiently waiting for GH to move their love story along, and last week, Sprina Nation made sure their wishes were seen and heard loud and clear.
Chavez and Ali received a huge surprise on Thursday, November 17, when a plane carrying a banner that read "Nicholas and Tabyana. We love you #FallForSprina" flew over Prospect Studios, where General Hospital is filmed.
The massive surprise was spearheaded by three fans as part of the #Fall4Sprina campaign. The dedicated fans went through months of planning and organizing in order to make this special day happen.

General Hospital also posted a video on social media that showed the plane flying over the studio. "The #Sprina fans truly won the day. Wouldn't you agree @nicholasachavez and @iamaliford?"

Chavez and Ali were full of smiles as they expressed their gratitude for the enormous show of affection and support from the fan base. In a YouTube Short video, Ali, clearly overwhelmed by the gesture, said, "Thank you Sprina Nation for the beautiful plane." Chavez finished by saying, "Thank you so much. This has been the most surreal experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Me and Tabyana appreciate it so much. So grateful."
