Television viewers are about to get twice as much James Patrick Stuart as usual! Not only is he finally back as his General Hospital character, Valentin Cassadine, but he'll also soon be airing in the brand-new Disney Channel show, The Villains of Valley View.
Stuart took to Twitter to share a teaser trailer of the family-friendly project, which premieres Friday, June 3, on Disney Channel and will be available to stream shortly after on Disney+.
"So this is happening," the excited actor wrote, adding in the comments section, "Stellar group of people and we're all very proud of it."
As Soap Central previously reported, The Villains of Valley View stars Stuart as the patriarch of a family of supervillains that relocates to a sleepy Texas suburb with new identities after their daughter, Havoc (Isabella Pappas), stands up to the head of the League of Villains. Now incognito as Amy, Havoc gets help from her effervescent new neighbor Hartley (Kayden Muller-Janssen) as she hides her superpowers and quells her villainous nature while she and the rest of the family try to be "normal."
Other stars include Lucy Davis as Eva/Surge, Malachi Barton as Colby/Flashform, Reed Horstmann as Jake/Chaos, and Patricia Belcher as recurring character Celia.
Stuart has been playing the role of GH's Valentin since 2016. Some of his other credits include Amphibia, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Monsters vs. Aliens, Supernatural, 90210, and The Closer.
