General Hospital has cast Vanessa Mathison, the real-life wife of Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain), to play Mia, a very special someone who will meet with the former Navy SEAL.
Soap opera fans have been dying to see Rebecca Budig return as General Hospital's Hayden Barnes, if only to see her share scenes with her former All My Children husband Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain). Sadly, a Ryan/Greenlee reunion doesn't look imminent, but GH is bringing another of Mathison's love interests to the canvas: the actor's real-life wife, Vanessa Mathison!
According to Soap Opera Digest, Vanessa will guest-star alongside her husband in the Thursday, April 21, episode of the ABC soap opera (bumped from her original Wednesday, April 20, airdate due to last week's preemption). She'll be appearing as Mia, an executive coach who meets with Drew.
GH is keeping mum on the specific storyline details, but viewers know that Drew is working hard to re-establish his life in Port Charles, and an executive coach could be just the thing he needs to clarify his goals and unlock his achievement.

The Mathisons have shared the screen on numerous occasions, including when Vanessa popped onto Home & Family, the Hallmark talk show that Mathison co-hosted with Debbie Matenopoulos, and when she guest-starred on Cameron's House Rules, the brief reality series that Mathison hosted in 2015.
