General Hospital actress Lydia Look shares an update about her status with the ABC soap, where she's recently become a fan favorite as Brad's aunt, Selina Wu.

When it comes to General Hospital's Lydia Look (Selina Wu), fans are making like Britney Spears and singing "Gimme more!" But is more coming from the actress, whose turn as Brad's aunt has captured GH fans' hearts?

According to Soap Opera Digest, Look has actually exited the ABC soap opera -- but there's no need to panic! The actress confirmed that she's just taking a break for an extended visit to family overseas.

"The end of the year is when I always go visit my mother in Singapore," Look shared with the magazine.

Fortunately for fans of Selina, the actress reveals that GH is keen to keep writing for the character, so, she has asked them to "please wait" for her. She added that if it wasn't for her annual visit to see her mom, she would definitely have been up for filming more scenes upon the soap's return from its holiday hiatus.

"December/January is always family time... and that comes first," she shared before confirming that she "will be back!"

Look originally joined GH in 2015 but has only recently been involved more heavily in storylines -- a change that fans have welcomed with open arms. Some of her other credits include 10,000 Days; The Proud Family; and NCIS: Hawai'i.

Are you relieved to hear that Lydia Look's exit from GH is just temporary? What do you hope the writers have planned for Selina once Look is able to reprise the role?
