Heartfelt messages are pouring in for beloved daytime star Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain, General Hospital; ex-Ryan Lavery, All My Children), who shared on social media that his mother, Loretta, has passed away.
The actor posted a photo tribute to his mom on Instagram, sharing that she left this world a better place.
"You were the center of our family with so much love and devotion for all of us," he wrote. "You were there for me in my absolute toughest times, and celebrated all my successes with so much love and enthusiasm. I have so many beautiful and incredible memories I don't even know where to start. You will always be with me in my heart."

Several of Mathison's colleagues have sent their love to Mathison. Alicia Minshew (ex-Kendall Hart, AMC) wrote, "I love you and am calling you now. My heart just sank. Your beautiful mother is with you now and always. Sending prayers to you and your family my sweet friend."
Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson, The Young and the Restless; ex-Annie Novak, AMC) shared, "Cam, I am so so sorry. Sending you and the family all the love in the world."
