Soap stud Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain, General Hospital; ex-Ryan Lavery, All My Children) shares details about the new movie he's currently working on, an upcoming Christmas film called Secret Santa. Plus, find out how the movie will affect his time in Port Charles.
New General Hospital star Cameron Mathison is making himself right at home in Port Charles as the new face of Drew Cain, but that hasn't stopped him from also focusing on the upcoming holiday season. The actor took to Instagram to share that he is currently working on his next big project, a Christmas film called Secret Santa.
Mathison revealed the exciting movie news along with a photo of his leading lady in the holly and jolly project: Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Jennie Garth!
"Lots of laughs working with the awesome @jenniegarth on a sweet Christmas movie called Secret Santa right now," Mathison captioned the photo, which he followed up with a video clip in which he quizzes Garth on the number of times that they've worked together.

Mathison insists that he and Garth have shared the screen four times, but Garth had a different answer. "No... There's no way we've worked together four times. Maybe twice," she said before joking, "I feel like you might have been on Dancing with the Stars the season I did it."
In reality, as Mathison points out, the pair have worked together four times, including their current project, Dancing with the Stars, a 2013 ABC Family film called Holidaze, and once -- which Garth is surprised to have forgotten -- on an episode of What I Like About You.
"I played the doctor in one episode... I had all the stuffed animals!" Mathison exclaims, to which Garth responds, "How could I forget? You were so weird!"
As for how Secret Santa will affect Mathison's time at GH, the actor shares that he's having to squeeze in an "intense" amount of work in a short amount of time to make it back to Port Charles.
"I think I'm shooting 15 days' worth of work in 12 days to make it back in time for General Hospital," he shared in an Instagram story. "So, lots of stuff going on. I'll keep you updated."
Further details about Secret Santa are scarce at the moment, but it's possible that it could be a remake of Garth's 2003 film of the same name.
