With Vinessa Antoine headed to a major primetime opportunity, General Hospital has hired Briana Henry as their new Jordan Ashford.
It's been more than a month since Vinessa Antoine revealed that she would be exiting her role as Jordan Ashford on General Hospital. Now, the ABC has revealed that it has found an actress to take over the role of the chief of police at the Port Charles Police Department.
Relative daytime newcomer Briana Nicole Henry will begin filming at GH later this month, according to Soap Opera Digest. While the actress is new to General Hospital, soap fans may remember seeing her before. She appeared as "Esmerelda" on The Young and the Restless back in 2014. Henry was scheduled to appear in only one episode, but her role was later expanded to 16 episodes.
She has also appeared on NBC's Undateable, CW's Jane the Virgin, ABC's Stitchers, and HBO's Insecure.
