General Hospital's Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos) has landed a leading role in Grand Hotel, an ABC primetime soap from former The Young and the Restless star Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella Braa). All My Children alum Denyse Tontz has also been cast on the nighttime series.
ABC's upcoming primetime soap opera Grand Hotel is already living up to the first part of its name. Former The Young and the Restless star Eva Longoria (ex-Isabella Braa) is leading the series, and now comes news that popular General Hospital alum Bryan Craig (ex-Morgan Corinthos) and All My Children alum Denyse Tontz (ex-Miranda Montgomery) have landed plum roles on the soap.
Based on a Spanish soap opera of the same name, Grand Hotel takes place at a hotel in Miami Beach and centers on the family who owns the business, the staff that runs it, and the explosive secrets they hide under the perfect exterior.
Craig will portray the series regular role of Javi, who's described by Deadline as a "no-filter playboy who loves to disobey his father." Tontz will star as Paloma, who is described as a "smart, headstrong young woman determined to do what's right for the family business."

Tyrant alum Anne Winters has also been cast in the nighttime soap as Ingrid, a gorgeous hotel employee who would rather be anything else. "She's humorously candid about not liking her job (or any job, really) and spends much of her time trying to find shortcuts to a richer, easier life." The series is also set to feature Devious Maids alum Roselyn Sanchez.
The original version of Grand Hotel takes place in 1905 Spain and follows a working-class man who is desperately searching for his missing sister and gets a job at the hotel where she worked to investigate her disappearance. As the brother gains allies in his quest, characters' storylines intertwine, and mysteries of the hotel are revealed.
Craig broke daytime fans' hearts when he chose to leave GH shortly after taking home a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in 2016. He currently recurs on the CW's military drama series Valor.
Tontz starred on the web reboot of AMC in 2013. She later went on to score roles in series like Dallas, Melissa & Joey, Bones, The Night Shift, and The Fosters.
The new version of Grand Hotel is a collaboration between Longoria and Ben Spector's UnveliEVAble Entertainment and ABC Studios.
